Setup Guide

Invite LinkBot to your Discord server using the Add button on the dashboard.

Sign in to the dashboard with your Discord account and select your server.

Add your DayZ server in the DayZ Servers tab:
- Enter your DayZ server IP address and query port (usually 27016).
- Set a display name for the server.
- Select the Discord channel where the live status embed will be posted.
- Select the Discord channel to receive mod update alerts.
- Click Save — the bot will automatically post and keep the server status panel and update messages up to date.

(Optional) Set up RCON information to send automatic in-game messages when a mod update is detected:
- Enter your server's RCON port and password.
- When a mod update is detected, the bot will broadcast a message in-game so players know to expect a restart.

(Optional) Configure roles to ping when a mod update message is posted:
- In the DayZ Servers tab, select one or more Discord roles to be mentioned in mod update notifications.
- Members with those roles will receive a ping whenever a mod in your collection is updated.

(Optional) Customize language in the Language tab:
- Choose a preset language to auto-fill all fields with a built-in translation.
- Customize any individual field — status embed labels, mod update messages, player link embed text.
- Click Save to apply your changes.

(Plus / Premium) Set up Player Linking in the Player Links tab:
- Select a Token Request Channel — the bot posts a 'Get My Token' embed there.
- Set a Token Expiration in days (set to 0 for tokens that never expire).
- Optionally set a Banner URL (large image at the top of the embed) and a Thumbnail URL (small icon in the top-right).
- Click Refresh Embed Message — the embed will be published or updated.
- Players click the button in Discord to receive a private token they enter in-game to link their account.

(Plus / Premium) Get the LinkBot DayZ mod from huntermods.online .

(Plus / Premium) Add the .pbo file to your server pack.

(Plus / Premium) Start your server once to generate the profile settings file.

(Plus / Premium) Stop the server and open the file "\ServerProfile\Hunter_Mods\HM_Link_Bot\HM_Settings_Link_Bot.json".

(Plus / Premium) Edit the "guildId" field and replace it with your Discord server ID.

(Plus / Premium) Start your server — players must now link their Discord accounts in-game when logging on the server using their token.
